National Programme On Technical Enhancing Education [NPTEL] is an official website for developing technical education, funded by Government of India and maintained by IIT's and IIS.Seven IITs and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) have worked together to develop web and video based material for basic undergraduate science and engineering courses in order to enhance the reach and quality of technical education in India.
As on today, it's offering about 260 courses( 125 Web assistance and 135 video assistance) are offered by this official site and has planned to offer about 500 courses to clearly explain all the basic concepts of Engineering.

The Official NPTEL Website has all the courses available for free viewing and download. Youtube (one among the official sponcers of this programme) has an IIT channel, from which all the courses (approximately 40 hours of lectures per course) are available free of Cost.
DVDs of individual courses (3 DVDs per course) is available from the NPTEL website. These can be obtained from the btechguru website.
Additionally, academic and learning institutions can also obtain the entire set of all courses by contacting NPTEL.

Tamilnadu Tenth Result - SSLC / Matric / OSLC / Anglo Indian

10ம் வகுப்பு தேர்வில் திருவண்ணாமலை மாவட்டம் செய்யாறு அரசு மேல்நிலைப்பள்ளி மாணவி மின்னலாதேவி உட்பட 5 மாணவிகள் முதல் ராங்க் பெற்றுள்ளனர். இன்றைய பத்தாம் வகுப்பு பொதுத்தேர்வு முடிவுகள் இன்று காலையில் வெளியானது. இதில் மொத்தம் தேர்வு எழுதியதில் 7 லட்சத்து 1ஆயிரத்து 786 பேர் தேர்ச்சி பெற்றுள்ளனர். மொத்தம் ‌தேர்ச்சி விகிதம் 85. 30 சதம் ஆகும். இதில் மாணவர்கள் 82. 30 சதம், மாணவிகள் 88.10 சதம் ஆகும்.
விருதுநகர் , திருவண்ணாமலை,சென்னை, ஈரோடு , சேலம் மாவட்டத்தை சேர்ந்த மாணவ, மாணவிகள் 5 பேர் முதல் ரேங்கை தட்டிப்பறித்துள்ளனர். இவர்கள் 5 பேரும் 500க்கு 496 மார்க் பெற்றுள்ளனர். 5 பேரும் மாணவிகளே ஆவர். இரண்டாமித்தை 494 மார்க்குகள் பெற்று 11 பேர் பிடித்துள்ளனர். 494 மார்க்குகள் பெற்று 24 பேர் 3 வது இடத்தை பிடித்துள்ளனர்.

முதலிடத்தை பிடித்த 5 மாணவிகள் விவரம்: எந்த முறையும் இல்லாத அளவிற்கு முதல் ராங்கை 5 பேர் பிடித்துள்ளனர். இவர்கள் அனைவரும் மாணவி‌களே. மொத்தம் 496 மார்க்குகள் பெற்றுள்ளனர். இந்த விவரம் வருமாறு:

நித்தியா - எஸ். எச் பள்ளி, ஸ்ரீவில்லிபுத்தூர், விருதுநகர் மாவட்டம்,

ரம்யா- ஸ்ரீ குருகுலம் பள்ளி, கோபிசெட்டிப்பாளையம், ஈரோடு மாவட்டம்.

சங்கீதா- முத்தமிழ் மேல்நிலைப்பள்ளி, ஆத்தூர் , சேலம் ,

மின்னல்விழி- செய்யாறு, அரசுமேல்நிலைப்பள்ளி,

ஹரினி, அவர்லேடி பள்ளி, திருவெற்றியூர், சென்னை.

கணிதத்தில் நூற்றுக்கு நூறு பெற்றவர்கள் 13 ஆயிரம் பேர்:

பத்தாம் வகுப்பு தேர்வில் கணிதத்தில் 12 ஆயிரத்து 532 பேர் நூற்றுக்கு நூறு மார்க்குகள் பெற்றுள்ளனர். அறிவியலில் 3 ஆயிரத்து 677 பேரும், சமூக அறிவியலில் 756 பேரும் பெற்று சாதனை படைத்துள்ளனர்.

 

விவசாயி மகள் முதலிடம்: ஆத்தூர் தலைவாசல் வி.கூட்டு‌‌ரோடு பகுதியில் இருக்கும் முத்தமிழ் மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளி மாணவி எஸ்.சங்கீதா 500க்கு 496 மார்க்குகள் எடுத்து முதலிடம் பிடித்துள்ளார். இவரது தந்தை சக்திவேல் விவசாயி. இவர் பாடவாரியாக பெற்ற மார்க்குகள் தமிழ்- 98 ; ஆங்கிலம் - 99; கணிதம் - 100; அறிவியல் - 100; சமூக அறிவியல் - 9டாக்டராவேன் என்கிறார் அரசுப்பள்ளி மாணவி: திருவண்ணாமலை மாவட்டம் செய்யாறு அரசுப் பள்ளி மாணவி மின்னலாதேவி அளித்த பேட்டியில் : எதிர்காலத்தில் டாக்டராகி சமூக சேவை விருப்பம் என தெரிவித்துள்ளார். இவரது தந்த‌ை மோகன் கிராம தபால் ஊழியராக பணியாற்றுகிறார். இவர் பாடவாரியாக பெற்ற மார்க்குகள் : தமிழ் -98 ; ஆங்கிலம் - 98; கணிதம் - 100 ; அறிவியல் -100; சமூக அறிவியல் - 100.

மெட்ரிக் பிரிவில் ஈரோடு மாணவி முதலிடம் : மெட்ரிக் பிரிவில் ஈரோட்டை சேர்ந்த மாணவி முதலிடத்தை பிடித்துள்ளார். பாரதிய வித்தியாபவன் மெட்ரிக்., பள்ளியை சேர்ந்த அஸ்வினி 493 மார்க்குகள் பெற்றுள்ளார்.

கடந்த மார்ச், ஏப்ரலில், 10ம் வகுப்பு பொதுத்தேர்வுகள் நடந்தன. மார்ச் 28 முதல், ஏப்ரல் 11 வரை நடந்த எஸ்.எஸ்.எல்.சி., தேர்வை, எட்டு லட்சத்து, 57 ஆயிரத்து, 956 மாணவர்கள் எழுதினர். இவர்களில், நான்கு லட்சத்து, 22 ஆயிரத்து, 21 பேர் மாணவர்கள்; நான்கு லட்சத்து, 35 ஆயிரத்து, 935 பேர் மாணவியர்.

தனித்தேர்வு மூலம், 97 ஆயிரத்து, 655 பேர் எழுதினர். மார்ச் 22 முதல், ஏப்ரல் 11 வரை நடந்த மெட்ரிக் தேர்வை, ஒரு லட்சத்து, 45 ஆயிரத்து, 252 பேர் எழுதினர். இவர்களில், 79 ஆயிரத்து, 794 பேர் மாணவர்கள். 65 ஆயிரத்து, 458 பேர் மாணவியர். ஆங்கிலோ இந்தியன் தேர்வை, 4,873 பேரும், ஓ.எஸ்.எல்.சி., தேர்வை, 1,561 பேரும் எழுதினர்.

Tamilnadu SSLC (1oth) results declared today. Five students shared the state first. Nithya  from srivilliputhur district grabbed the state first rank with 496 marks.

Engineering / Medical Cut off Marks and the Rank

How to calculate cut off Mark:

For Engineering
1. Divide the physics mark by 4
2. Divide the chemistry mark also by 4
3. Divide the maths mark by 2.


ADD ALL THESE THREE MARKS.. The resultant mark is the cut off mark of the student in engineering..

For example
if you

Physics mark is     190/200.. then 190 /4 =47.50 ( FOR 50)
Chemistry mark is  185 /4 THEN 185/4 = 46.25(FOR 50 )
Maths mark is      194/2 THEN 194/ 2 = 97 (FOR 100 )

CUT- OFF MARKS FOR 200 IS 190.75.

For Medical
1. Divide the Biology mark by 2
2. Divide the physics mark by 4
3. Divide the chemistry mark also by 4
.


ADD ALL THESE THREE MARKS.. The resultant mark is the cut off mark of the student for medical..
