How to calculate cut off Mark:
For Engineering
1. Divide the physics mark by 4
2. Divide the chemistry mark also by 4
3. Divide the maths mark by 2.
ADD ALL THESE THREE MARKS.. The resultant mark is the cut off mark of the student in engineering..
For example
if you
Physics mark is 190/200.. then 190 /4 =47.50 ( FOR 50)
Chemistry mark is 185 /4 THEN 185/4 = 46.25(FOR 50 )
Maths mark is 194/2 THEN 194/ 2 = 97 (FOR 100 )
For Medical
1. Divide the Biology mark by 2
2. Divide the physics mark by 4
3. Divide the chemistry mark also by 4
.
ADD ALL THESE THREE MARKS.. The resultant mark is the cut off mark of the student for medical..
Expected Rank of the student:
Engineering / Medical Counseling for Admission into affiliated (Government, Govt. Aided, Self-Finance) Colleges of Anna Universities and Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University (2011-2012)
